I realize it's been a very long time since my last post. I have all sorts of excuses for that. Here are a few.
-First we were getting ready to move.
-Then we moved.
-We are still getting settled.
-I have three kids under the age of 5.
-I don't have a desk and have not yet set up my computer.
-I now have to cook again now that I'm not living with my parents. (Or at least attempt to provide food for my family since I don't cook every day by any means.)
-I have three kids under the age of 5.
-I have a job outside the home.
-Did I mention I have three kids under the age of 5? Because I do.
Said children take up much of my time and attention (duh, right?) It seems that every time I go out several people look at my cartload of kids and comment about how full my hands are. Thanks, people. I didn't really think too much about it until all those comments. Now I'm feeling overwhelmed and behind the game. I'm having trouble getting things done. Blogging has been low on my list of priorities.
Eventually I will post the few pictures I've taken. In the meantime, just know that despite being frustrated about not getting as much done as I feel like I should be getting done, I'm happy. I'm loving our halfway-organized, messy new home. It feels wonderful to be in our own place once again, and I also just plain love our place. It's a definite upgrade from the condo and potentially the house as well (pre flooded condition I mean). And now that the furnace is not on the verge of burning the place down, it's even better, haha! At some point I will get all the walls painted. I will get the needed furniture/decoration that we need. I will finish the other projects I have. I'll get it all cleaned. And then I will attend Abby's high school graduation because it will take me that long to do it all. ;)
