Starting 2012 With Post Number 201

Here's my cutie patootie three-month-old!

Maybe Grandma's got cold fingers or something...
I've been trying to put videos on the last four posts from today and none of them want to upload. Grrr. Oh well. Maybe another day it will let me upload videos again.

Christmas Day and Beyond

Ariel made these Angry Bird hats for each of the girls. Abby was napping, so I wore hers.

Abby woke up after awhile and was able to model it herself. Notice the other two are still wearing theirs. They love them!

Uncle GR (by the way, Brie has been calling Greg GR, which is SO cute) liked getting to know Abby better. She enjoyed his company also. Abby got to know Michelle quite well during their visit as well. They got along swimminly, too.

Yes, we were good this year. No doubt about it. :)

Cute chubby face.

So big!

The annual skating trip! Chelsea did fantastic on her skates, though I swear I had several heart attacks in the two hours we were there. She took a couple spills, but no tears, and she jumped right back up. What a trooper.

Big thumbs up!

We built a massive snowman with the ice shavings on the rink. Look at the size of this guy! This has become a tradition as well. It was really funny to see people's reaction to it when they noticed it. It was a big hit! Our groups antics were noticed by several people. I heard lots of comments during the little contests we were having. It was all positive, though, so we weren't compelled to get off the ice. We even got to take a break and watch the zamboni do it's job.

Christmas Eve

Santa visited the Heits at Grandma and Grandpa Kelly's.

Santa must think Mommy and Daddy have similar tastes or something.

The girls enjoyed finding out what Santa brought them, though for the longest time, Brie was content to just watch Chelsea open her gifts. She got past that after awhile.

Here's the whole gang.  The little girl on the corner is not Brie, that's Kyri. You can kind of see Brie's eye under Rick's chin there. Otherwise I think you can sorta see everyone. Except me, that is. Bahaha!

We've all been VERY good this year.

The traditional kids-with-a-present-under-the-tree picture. Abby wasn't too happy about it. Maybe next year, hehe.

Chelsea didn't want Abby left out of the fun. So she wrapped up a burp cloth in an envelope for her and helped her open it. What a sweet big sister.

This is how Abby knows her sisters: up close and personal. They love each other!

Playing with all the loot!

Football. Meh. The guys seem to like it though.

Christmas Eve evening is when Abby got her first taste of rice cereal. She was a champ. On a sidenote, her second experience was fantastic, her third...not so much. She hasn't had any past her third time yet. She'll get the hang of it eventually.

Still Not Quite Christmas
