This week for FHE Chelsea wanted to make blueberry muffins. Most of the time we just get the add water kind. This time I sprung for a package that had a can of real blueberries to drain and rinse in addition to adding milk, oil, and eggs. Chelsea had a ball!
Brie wasn't quite sure what I wanted her to do here, or why she is holding the muffin mix. Or why she was wearing an art smock. Or why I was taking a picture of her holding the muffin mix while wearing an art smock. But she's still cute!
But she sure did enjoy putting the paper cups into the muffin tin! She was smiling and giggling the whole time. It made me want to make more than a dozen muffins, just so that she could put more papers in, hehe.
Brie hasn't quite grasped the stirring bit yet, either. But Chelsea gets it and she gets better each time we bake something. Chelsea also enjoyed scooping the batter into the paper cups (with minimal help from Mommy).
And the grand finale: enjoying the fruits of our labors as a refreshment/bedtime snack. Ahh family home evenings are great. And the general authority that was just here for Stake Conference (I forget his name) was correct: The most important part of FHE is....the REFRESHMENTS!!!

Cute. Perhaps this is why Chris wanted to make blueberry muffins this week as well. (We haven't made them yet).
Your FHE looks like fun! :) I love those muffins!
Yummy!! I didn't know they had such fancy mixes. The girls are so cute!!
I like how Chelsea is wearing her special baker outfit.
